“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

Training: What do I learn here about my responsibilities and the resources God gives me to fulfil them?
We have so many responsibilities. In our role as mothers. In our role as wives. And the list can go on and on. But are we neglecting any of the responsibilities that God has given to us? Are we neglecting the means that God has given us to fulfil each of those responsibilities?
When you have spare time, what do you do? When you have extra money, what do you spend it on? What do you do with the “means” that God has given to you — whether it be time, money, etc…?
How do you view studying God’s Word? Do you see it as a responsibility that God has given to you? Or do you see it as something that is “nice” to do?
We spend so much time focusing on other responsibilities that we have. And some of them are NOT even God-given responsibilities, but things that WE feel we need to be doing. But you must ask yourself this question… “Are my other responsibilities taking up most of my time that I neglect the responsibilities that God has given to me as a
wife/mother/Godly woman?”
If you don’t have time to fulfil the responsibilities that God has given to you, then you need to search God’s Word and realize what your God-given responsibilities are.
