“You shall not murder.” Exodus 20:13

This verse is pretty self-explanatory, although why is it that people cannot grasp the idea that abortion is wrong? Abortion is one of the most talked about issues in the news these days. We hear women say that it’s their bodies and they can do what they want. But since when is murder a God-given right?

God hates the shedding of innocent blood. Now, how much more innocent can you get than a baby who isn’t even born yet! We need to be focusing our attention on the things that lead up to abortion, and try to fix them instead of making things even worse.

I know most of you know how it feels to have a life growing inside of you, but some women may never carry that baby long enough to feel he/she kick. Please stress the importance of life. Go tell someone how it feels to know that you are the only person that can take care of that fragile baby. You are all that he/she has. And if you quit, that baby doesn’t have a chance.

If you come across someone who is contemplating having an abortion, won’t you share with them what the Bible says about it and how serious and fatal abortion is.

MOMMY, IT’S ME

Mommy, can you hear me?
It’s me, your little son.
I hear all of your words,
each and every single one.

Mommy, can you feel me?
As I move around inside.
I feel all the moves you make
in you, is where I abide.

Mommy, can you see me?
As you watch the ultrasound.
I can move my arms and legs
my thumb I now have found.

Mommy, can you help me?
Something’s going on in here.
I can’t figure out the reason
that I am full with fear.

Mommy, can you save me?
I’m dying piece by piece.
When will my fears be gone
and all this torture will cease.

Mommy, you didn’t hear me.
you ignored my little voice.
I heard you tell the doctor,
“Kill it…It’s my choice.”

Mommy, you didn’t feel me.
every kick I ever made.
Your actions helped create me,
and this is how I’m repaid.

Mommy, you didn’t see me.
as I gently waved to you.
It didn’t matter to you at all,
my life would soon be through.

Mommy, you didn’t help me.
You sat back for me to die.
I still can’t understand it all
I want to know the reason why.

Mommy, you didn’t save me.
but Jesus came to my rescue.
If you only go to Him
He can save you too.

Mommy, I still love you.
I forgive what you have done.
I am with my true Daddy now
and Jesus Christ, His only Son.
